  • Providing legal education to first-generation students and those with financial need
  • Enhancing diversity in the law
  • Allowing students to pursue public interest careers
  • Increasing the value of all degrees from UNLV Boyd

There are many ways to support existing scholarship funds. Read more about each fund below and you may contribute to existing funds from the donation page.

    Existing funds include:

    • Law and Leadership Scholarship: The Law and Leadership Scholarship Fund supports students participating and/or enrolled in the Law and Leadership Program which serves three functions: (1) to prepare future lawyers to take leadership positions in government and public service; (2) to bring together national and state leaders and scholars to discuss leadership theory and application; and (3) to further the academic study of leadership and the role and ethics of lawyers in leadership positions.
    • The Senator Harry Reid Scholarship: Named in honor of Senator Harry Reid, Reid Scholars are first generation Nevadans with a commitment to public service. Reid Scholars will use the law and their legal education to better understand the societal constructs that cause communities to build walls rather than bridges, thereby increasing and enhancing civic, and civil, dialogue.
    • School of Law Scholarships: The law school's general scholarship fund enables the recruitment of the best and brightest from and to Nevada, further strengthening the law school's reputation in Nevada and across the country.

Please contact Angie Doran at angie.doran@unlv.edu if you would like more information, or are interested in establishing a new scholarship fund.
