Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA)

The Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) strives to promote Asian Pacific American topics and to contribute to the multicultural awareness at the William S. Boyd School of Law. APALSA is concerned with connecting Asian Pacific American law students with other professional organizations and the Asian Pacific American community. APALSA plans on organizing events such as guest speaker series, community service projects, cultural events, and professional and social opportunities to meet fellow Boyd students or practicing attorneys. APALSA also has an internal mentor-mentee program, in which 1L law students are paired up with upper-class students who may offer advice and help him navigate through the first year in law school. APALSA membership is open to all interested law students and members are encouraged to become leaders and active participants in community issues.
